Who is responsible for your data
Band der Waals, based in Mexico City, is responsible for the personal data collected on bandderwaals.com, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. For anything about privacy, write to derwaalsband@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
When you write to us. If you email us for a quote, an interview or anything else, we receive your name, your email and whatever you choose to tell us, such as your phone number or the date and venue of an event. We use it only to reply, quote and organize the show or the story.
When you visit the site. We use Google Analytics to learn how many people visit, from which country and city, on what kind of device, from which network or page they arrive and which buttons they use, such as Listen on Spotify or Request a quote. It is statistical information: it doesn't tell us who you are and we don't use it to identify you.
We don't use your data for anything else, we don't sell it and we don't use it for personalized advertising.
Cookies
Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser to tell one visit from another. If you don't want your visits counted, open bandderwaals.com/?no_medir=1 once in each browser you use, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or block cookies in your browser settings. The site works the same without them.
YouTube videos load in privacy-enhanced mode: YouTube stores no cookies until you press play.
Who we share it with
Browsing data is processed by Google as the Analytics provider, under its own policies. Emails you send us stay in the band's email account. We don't share your data with anyone else, unless an authority requires it by law.
Links to Spotify, YouTube, Instagram and other platforms take you to sites with their own privacy notices.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use (ARCO rights), and you can withdraw your consent. Write to derwaalsband@gmail.com with your name, the right you want to exercise and the data involved. We reply within 20 business days.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we'll publish the new version here with its update date.
